Geoje (Koje) has two huge ship yards making ships for the world. Huge containers like the one in the background are shipped one per week from Koje!

The idea was a bit strange! To have dive in the cold waters of peak winter. That's why they called it Penguin Swimming festival. To our surprise there were 'cold resistant' men and women ready to get into the waters on January 15, 2005!

It was not easy. You may catch a cold if you dive into cold winter waters of South Sea. Fortunately, the water temperature read 13 degree celcius. Not freezing anyway! (Probably similar to a dip into Ganges in Haridwar in the early morning, irrespective of season)
